Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games

You can choose between 20 different athlets like  Mario, Metal Sonic , Daisy, Donkey Kong, Silver, Dr. Eggman or Knuckles divided into 4 different groups : speed, strenght, skills and the 3 abilities together in the 4TH group. The game features a Festival mode where you,  the player, starts from the opening to the closing ceremony. In the Festival mode, you can choose to play a singleplayer festival or a offline multiplayer festival. There is a marketplace that allows the player to purchase various items such as clothes and accessories with Star Tokens for your Mii.

Mario Galaxy 2

Mario pursues the Koopa King, Bowser, across various galaxies to rescue the Princess Peach and take away Bowser’s control of the universe, using Power Stars. In Galaxy 2, Mario has the new abilities to ride Yoshi and create clouds to stand upon and  go to higher altitude. Another new ability is that if you failed a level many times a ghost in the shape of Daisy will appear, leading you to the end of the level. But be aware that there will be consequences:  you’ll only receive a bronze Power Star which has much less value than the real gold Power Star !

James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game

 Play as Rai’uk, a member of the species of the Na'Vi from the clan of Anurai, the race living in the world of Pandora, the planet that humans want to colonise to gain the rich minerals of this fantistic world. You’ll have to fight against the invaders. They have powerful ranged weapons so you have to be discreet and jump on them from behind and do a special attack that will kill them instantly. Or use ranged weapons yourself: the bow and arrow. Your fights in the rich forests of Pandora is not the only way to repel the invaders for the Avatar can ride on a Banshee, a species of gigantic coloured birds that the Na’vi tamed.

Overlord : Dark Legends

Once upon a time, in castle Gromgard,  a young lord was born. At 16 he was clothed magically into a corrupted armour which made him the Overlord. Helped by Gnarl, the minion master,  he assembles an army of minions which are used to kill enemies, destroy obstacles and carry relics to the Waypoint Gates. You, the overlord, can throttle the minions, creating an explosion which  can damage enemies or heal allies. At first you dispose of only the fighters (brown minions) but after time you will unlock the archers (red minions), assasins (green minions) and the healers (blue minions) and get a higher maximum number of minions (max15). The red minions can quench fires and pass through them unharmed and can also throw faming projectiles which makes them very good for ranged attacks. The green minions can pass through poisonous gas unharmed and eliminate  poisonous plants. They are agile and fast which makes  that they can jump unto enemies doing even more damage. The blue minions can pass through water and can ressurect fallen minions. There is a map and a mincyclopedia with information like tutorials, devices, enemies, characters and a journal. There is also the minion stats, in-game options and the quest log.

The Lord of the Rings : Aragorn’s Quest

Peace reigns in Middle-Earth and Aragorn is now King of Gondor. Samwise Gamegee is the mayor of Hobitton. The young hobbits are eager to listen to the epic tales of Aragorn, son of Arathorn.  You are the master of the story while Sam does the story-telling. You will follow the path of Aragorn as he fights aginst the Dark Lord. There are 9 levels, each one leading Aragorn closer to the Gates of Mordor.

·         Play as Gandalf or Elanor (player 2)

·         Buy better equipment with gold

·         Save your game into one of the save slots

·         Collect tokens to increase your defence and attack

·         In the menu there is a list of equipment, artifacts, a map, lore items and a reload/quit button
